Well the contest is over and the winner is Julie Stimmler, with her drawing of her pet Jommy, the Disgruntled Squirrel. Bob stood out as a clear leader because a) he is a squirrel and b) he kills people. He even has a cute little chainsaw. What is that stuff dripping off it, though? Is that blood? Julie, you have problems. But now you also have a 1999 Religions of the World Calendar because you win first place. Thanks to all the other artists who submitted their drawings of their pets. Due to the sheer awesomeness of the 1999 Religions of the World Calendar--and this was to be expected--many of the applicants who lost are extremely disgruntled and have sent me several death threats. If you are one of these people and are experiencing such homicidal tendencies, please direct your complaints to the Swing Machine Complaint Department at i.have.something.stupid.to.say@swingmachine.org.
