Alligator Bread Thing
by Nicholas Wolfe (bread) Artist's Statement: Predator and prey reverse roles in a dance of form, reversing the roles in the primal food chain. The alligator (the killer), presumably the apex of the aforementioned, is rendered completely in the humble grain (the victim). A powerful paradox indeed, brilliantly executed: it crashes our established ideals in a violent tempest of margarine and burnt cheese. Back to Gallery Listing |
