This is a simple, strange and almost magical experiment
you can perform in the area around your house. 

Ingredients:

1 Garden Variety Sledge Hammer
<*note, any head weight will do>

1 Bug on the ground
<*note the bug must be located on the dirt ground.>
 
1. first locate your bug.
2. wait till he stops to smell the roses
3. raise your sledge hammer above your head
4. bring the hammer down at an accelerated rate upon the
    bug's appendix
5. observe your new crater
6. sell pictures to gullible children

Voila!  Science.

Dr. Wallace (also known as Dr. Looooove) surprisingly conducts his monumental experiments without any funding at all. He says he doesn't need the financial reimbursement to back him up, because it's the children that make it all worth it. Specifically, their milk money, and lots of it. But it's his zaniness appeal and his willingness to give human tendencies (like smashing bugs) into his scientific experiments that put him in the limelight and Mr. Wizard in the ditch.
