"Bob" is a steel bolt of about five inches' length, and it belongs to Julie. In addition to owning Bob, she also has "Bobbit" the four-inch bolt, "Spork" the spork, "Floyd" the window-opener, and many others. Each inanimate object holds special meaning for Julie, which is why she carries them with her everywhere she goes.
