We are always looking for new styles and new ideas. Besides the humdrum articles, short short stories, and humorous poems, we also love comics, drawings of strange natures, recipes, obituaries, silly songs, letters (esp. to the editor), editorials, animations, and yes--manifestoes--if you can limit yourself to a moderately-long ramble. Do not give us anything you didn't create yourself! Also, keep it reasonably clean. Some of our parents read this! Mostly what we look for are pieces that are funny. We also like serious pieces that distinguish themselves by being off-beat in some way. Most things will be accepted, but don't fear rejection, because there might still be entertainment value in laughing at how strange your piece is, in which case you will shine! Example: Any one of Jonvieve's articles. They all make you go "What the--? ...Ssttrraannggee!" Bonus if you fit into both categories! E-mail your contributions to Sean at editor@swingmachine.org.
